Steel spiral staircases & parts

Steel is the primary base material behind our indoor spiral staircases and can be customized based on your desired performance and finished appearance.

The material that started it all

Chosen for structural performance and finish depth, steel accepts welded details, holds powder coat without edge bleed, and carries weight loads suited to high-traffic and commercial applications. All of our indoor metal spiral staircases feature a steel base as the standard with additional material options.

Designed for demanding applications

Steel’s tensile strength supports larger diameters and higher load ratings without deflection under sustained daily use. Suitable for high-traffic residential and commercial installations.

High-quality powder coat finishes

A powder coat finish on steel provides a tough, protective layer that resists scratching, chipping, fading, and rust. It’s applied in-house at our Broomall, PA facility alongside every other step of production.

Wide design range of steel parts

Our fabricators can easily cut, weld, and bend steel into precise, geometric shapes. This workability allows for details that other materials cannot achieve at the same tolerance.

Best suited for indoor applications

Steel performs best indoors or in covered exterior environments. For fully exposed outdoor conditions, we recommend aluminum. Our team can advise on the best materials for your project.
